Hello hello!  I hope the month of March has gotten off to a good start for you.  As usual at CAS Colours & Sketches, we start off the month with a color challenge.

I’m working on some Mother’s Day cards to include in my next shipment for Send a Smile 4 Kids, so that’s how I chose the theme for today’s card.  I have to confess that I struggled with this color combo for a while before finally deciding to go floral with it.  I inked up the background stamp with the yellow ink and then went around the edges of the stamp with my green ink pad to get a two-tone effect.  The white cardstock has some subtle linen texture, but it doesn’t show well in the photo.

Be sure to stop by the CAS Colours & Sketches blog to see what the rest of the Design Team has created, and to give a warm welcome to our Guest Designer for the month of March!  Then make your own card using the challenge colors and share it via the linky tool by 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, March 12.  We’d love to have you join us!
