Hello again!  It’s the fourth Tuesday of the month, which means it’s sketch challenge time again at CAS Colours & Sketches.  This one is based off a card I made a couple of months ago.

I’ve been trying to get some cards made for Send a Smile 4 Kids.  With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day coming up pretty soon, I need to make some cards for those occasions.  I thought I’d be able to tie that in with the current challenge at Addicted to CAS, where the challenge code word is “seaside”.  My first thought was to use my seashell stamps that I haven’t used for a long time.  Then I remembered this starfish image.  It fit perfectly in this rectangular scrap of watery-print designer paper.  So I built the card around that.  A strip of blue cardstock that I trimmed off from the mat for the image panel was just the right size to mat the sentiment panel.

I’m really looking forward to seeing what our challenge participants at CC&S create this week!  Be sure to link your card at the challenge post by 6:00 p.m. Eastern time Monday, April 3.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Stamps: Picture Perfect (Stampin’ Up); sentiment from Purple Onion Designs
Cardstock: Naturals Ivory, Marina Mist (SU); designer paper (source unknown)
Ink: Soft Suede (SU)
