I’m back again now that the Splitcoaststampers server migration is over.  Please let me know if you have any issues with anything here.

A longtime friend’s father passed away recently, and today’s card is the one we sent to her family.  The bird was originally from another creation that went awry.  I had the song “Birdland” stuck in my head after hearing our high school’s jazz band play it a few days ago, so I decided to use the bird on the sympathy card.  I paired it with some Basic Grey papers and the mirror image of Splitcoaststampers’ Sketch Challenge 273 layout and here is the final product. It’s hard to tell in the photo, but the bird is raised with dimensional adhesive.
